 The Program

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE, Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET) initiates the “YEStoWork” Program. The programs aims at boosting employability of Emirati youth in the private sector. “YEStoWork” is empowered by the support of its strategic partners, handpicked from the private sector.

The program provides training opportunities for young Emirati students to practice working in the private sector during the official holidays. It offers a unique opportunity for the young Emirati to live the actual work experience in retail and customer service industries.

Students participating in the program acquire a set of skills vital for succeeding as retailers or customer service providers in the private sector.

The vision and mission of “Yes to Work” lays within its mandate to increase employability of UAE nationals in retail outlets and customer service centers of the private sector. “Yes to Work” strategy is a catalyst to prepare the UAE nationals for taking an effective role in the retail and customer service industries of the private sector.
